Fearnan Village Association was formed in 2007 to provide a means through which those who live in the village can come together to discuss and respond to issues of importance to the village, particularly those that will have an impact on our quality of life. We also organise social events, such as the very popular Pudding Night in February, Strawberry TeaZ in July, and other events and coffee mornings throughout the year.

We hold an archive of life in Fearnan over the centuries, and there is a permanent exhibition of photographs and maps of Fearnan through the centuries in the Village Hall. Digital reproductions of many of these photographs can  be seen on the Photograph Archive page of this web site.

Copies of Dr Ian McGregor’s book, “Fearnan, the story of a Highland Perthshire Village” are available in local shops or can be ordered online here. The price is £6.50 and, if ordered online, a small commission is paid to the Village Association.

If you would like to contribute to our Fearnan History Project, either by suggesting someone that we should interview, or by sharing your own memories, please get in touch with Fiona: fiona@fearnanvillageassociation.com

Hi We have just moved into Tigh Na Coille in Fearnan after a very lengthy renovation project on the house!!!! Still the outside to finish but we’re almost there!! Biggest headache now is unpacking all the boxes and finding a place for everything! We are Joe and Elaine Watson and of course not forgetting our dog Oscar. Please could you send me a list of coffee mornings as I would like to come along and get to know our new neighbours.

    Email address tesolc51@gmail.com

    Many thanks
