Winter Pudding Night 2018: Saturday 17th February at 6pm

The perfect antidote to wintry weather! A convivial evening with the best choice of puddings you will find anywhere, ever! Whether you prefer childhood favourites like treacle pudding, jam roly-poly and rice pudding, or more sophisticated tarts and sweets, there’s something here for everyone.  Live music. Come hungry!

Coffee Mornings –  Join us for freshly brewed coffee and tea and some delicious home baking from 10.30am to 12.00 on the following dates:

Other Events:

FVA AGM: Saturday 17th March 2018, 4 – 5 pm. All members welcome.

Saturday 21st July: Strawberry TeaZ 15.00 -17.00. Cakes, tarts, scones, ice cream and more – all made or served with strawberries. Live music.

Sunday Nov 11thRemembrance Sunday 11.00 at the Memorial and after in the village hall for tea and coffee.

Saturday 8th DecMulled Wine & Mince Pies 15.00 – 17.00. Come and enjoy some seasonal goodies and good company.

REGULAR CLASSES AND CLUBS

Mondays                              

If you’re feeling creative, the Fearnan Art Club meets weekly in the hall on a Monday from 1pm – 3pm (2 – 4pm in the summer). Contact Cath on littleriver7@btinternet.com

The Art Club’s forward programme is:

Monday 14th May 1-4 pm: Sketching around Fearnan.  Jo has arranged access to the private beach and offered access to her garden and sun room if raining.

Monday 21st May 1-4 pm:  Taymouth Castle – meet at the far entrance to Taymouth on the Aberfeldy road.  Bluebells should be out.

Monday 28th May 1-4pm: meet at hall to organise Open Day.

Monday 4th June1-4 pm: Open Day at the hall.

Monday 11th June 1-4pm – trip to Bolfracks Gardens

Monday 18th June 1-4pm: trip to Castle Menzies.

Monday 25th June 1-4 pm:  Keltneyburn Meadow.  The orchids should be out. There is a very small car park at the meadow and an option to park at least one car in Susan’s drive.

Monday 2nd July 1-4 pm – meet at Fearnan Hall. Subject: sketching from photographs.

Carpet Bowls: On Monday evenings there’s an open invitation to everyone to come and play Carpet Bowls from 8 – 10pm. Contact Angela on 830619, or at a.kininmonth@talk21.com if you would like more information.

Tuesdays

The Mobile Library visits Fearnan Hall car park on alternate Tuesdays between 4.00 and 4.30 pm.  First of the year is 9th January.

Wednesdays

The Fearnan Book Club meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm to discuss their latest good read. Contact Graham on graham_liney@icloud.com or on 830727.

Thai Chi Classes take place in the hall at 10 – 11 am on Fridays. The cost is £2.00pp.

Fridays

Table Tennis  – the hall is open for table tennis in the morning.
