This week we’ve got some really great photos of Tuesday’s Coffee Morning, thanks to Peter and Julia.  There were conversations and eats a-plenty, and I think the pictures tell the story.

Another group that has been enjoying its get-togethers is the Book Club, which meets monthly on a Tuesday at 7pm in the village hall. (If you look closely, you can just see a book between the ‘refreshments’!)

They’ve been reading crime novels, and April’s was What to do When Someone Dies by Nicci French. If you’d like to join them, contact Graham on 830727 to find out the latest title and the date of the next meeting.

About Fearnan Village Association

Fearnan Village Association was formed in 2007 to provide a means through which those who live in the village can come together to discuss and respond to issues of importance to the village, particularly those that will have an impact on our quality of life. We also organise social events, such as the very popular Pudding Night in February, Strawberry TeaZ in July, and other events and coffee mornings throughout the year.

I would like to continue receiving the Fearnan Village Assoc., as I enjoy reading it very much and have been to Fearnan many times. My maternal family are from there. But I cannot find where to simply change my email address! I am changing over from valchap@bigpond.com to valboteschap@gmail.com as I am moving to the UK shortly to live. Please update my details. Old address will overlap the new for about three months. Many thanks. Val Chapman, Brisbane.

    • Hi Val, I think the best way might be for you to re-Follow the website using your gmail address (the ‘Follow’ button should pop up on the page) and that will ensure that you get notification of new items being published to your new email address. Once I see that you’re following it under a new address, I think I can cancel your old Follower subscription from this end.

Hope you’ll come and visit Fearnan once you’re back in the UK! Fiona
