October Coffee Morning

Last week’s Coffee Morning was a lively affair, with nearly 30 people coming to enjoy a chat and to make serious in-roads into the delicious spread of freshly baked cakes, biscuits and savouries.

Chocolate and courgette cake, apple cake, cherry buns, sausage rolls, apple and cheese tartlets and much more were on offer.

That was the last coffee morning for this year, and they will start again in March 2013.

In the meantime, there’s a concert at The Big Shed on Saturday 27th at 7.30m, when the Scottish Clarinet Quartet will take the audience around the world in eighty minutes with music by Handel, Bach, Borodin, Sondheim, Goodman, and Gershwin.  Tickets are £10 and are available from Jane on 07766566935 or from News First, Killin.

About Fearnan Village Association

Fearnan Village Association was formed in 2007 to provide a means through which those who live in the village can come together to discuss and respond to issues of importance to the village, particularly those that will have an impact on our quality of life. We also organise social events, such as the very popular Pudding Night in February, Strawberry TeaZ in July, and other events and coffee mornings throughout the year.
